First came Alexa, then the Del Rey, and now, finally, the Cara. At its London Fashion Week presentation today, Mulberry officially announced cara Delevigne collection, a handbag line the brand teased with a short trailer earlier this week.

Delevingne, who stars in the brand’s spring-summer campaign, has created one multi-tasking bag in a variety of iterations aimed at women on the move.

Cara-Mulberry-bag3“I was quite strong about what I wanted – something practical for the modern-day woman – or man,” she said, adding that she also demanded something hard wearing.

A group of gray whippets – and floor strewn with 25,000 paper leaves – completed the faux forest scene.

cara-mulberry-bag1The Cara Delevingne Collection comprises one style in three sizes – the mini, medium and large – in a variety of different colors – like natural leather and black, the bag comes in oxblood, indigo and emerald – and materials (padded leather and calf hair camouflage style) for a total of 17 skus. Featuring two handles and the signature Mulberry flap and gold lock at the front, it can be toted, worn over the shoulder, or carried as a backpack.

On Saturday, the eyebrow queen tweeted a teaser video and picture of the ‘Made in England’ tattoo on the bottom her foot alongside a blue leather bag with ‘Made in England’ also embossed on it.
