If this doesn’t get me excited for fall, I don’t know what will. Tory Burch delivered plenty of gorgeous prints, fun bedazzled sweaters and there was even a fur muff thrown in there! I’ve been seeing that accessory make a comeback this season.

Vera Wang creates a collection full of mystery, romance and allure. “Dark romance, it’s my true spirit,” she said. “We change, we’re affected by the world, films, art, sport, books… but this time for me it was really, really personal.” Her collection featured a lot of tartan, a dominant theme this season, black and charcoal coats, pants, lace dresses in silk and tulle and shirts.

Rodarte‘s entire F/W 2014 collection was filled with insanely cool pieces, but I just can’t get over the Star Wars-themed dresses. Rodarte is known for never being timid, and I’m just glad they continue to find new ways to create awesome things. Fuchsia glitter was offset by severe ’70s gray shearling. The coat itself was shoulderless, an editorial touch that I couldn’t help but applaud as extravagantly strange.

Oscar de la Renta delivered plenty of sophisticated separates, but I was loving the eveningwear looks the most. Dresses ran the gamut from sheer, fringed numbers to playful polka dot ball gowns. There was truly something for everybody in this collection.

And at Narciso Rodriguez, ’90s minimalism was felt in full force, specifically in the coats, simple silks, and asymmetric shapes. But the second-to-last look featured basic sateen trousers paired with a crepe shell embroidered with rectangular silver paillettes — a dramatic but still simple touch that I appreciate.
