In an interview with Forbes magazine, Italian shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti announced his plans to launch a new collaborative shoe with one of the world’s biggest stars – Beyoncé. “I’m doing a shoe with Beyoncé right now,” Zanotti told Forbes‘ Declan Eytan, before showing him a sketch of the heel from his iPhone. Eytan revealed in the interview that the sketch was of a ‘ultra thick platform stiletto’.

This isn’t the first time the two artistic wonders have combined their forces. For the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Zanotti and Carter fashioned a collection of showstopping footwear to complete her blinged out costumes.

“Beyoncé has very clear ideas – she knows exactly what she wants. The thing which she then also has over other celebrities, is that she has an amazing voice. She’s incredibly talented and she’s an amazing dancer – she’s complete. Few are like Beyoncé,” Zanotti continued, noting that he has known the multiple Grammy award-winning artist since her early Destiny’s Child days.

“I’m working on finalising the shoe with her stylist right now. And Beyoncé will then say what she likes and what she doesn’t like. ” Zanotti said. According to the March 19 interview, the collaborative effort is expected to launch within one or two weeks.
Unfortunately for the feening bees, Queen Bey will only give you a taste of honey with just one pair of shoes…I’ll keep you posted 😉
