Last Tuesday a writer named Kathryn Swartz Rees from Chicago tweeted her followers that she had shared on her Instagram account ton of images of the much-anticipated Balmain for H&M collaboration.

I don’t know for sure if these H&M x Balmain collab images are legit, but the photos showcase many of the yet-to-be unveiled pieces such as apparel, footwear and accessories for men and women that fit the Olivier Rousteing aesthetic, including some of the few pieces that H&M has previewed, like Gigi Hadid’s long-sleeve tunic dress, the items worn by the topmodel, Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner in the collection’s ad campaign and the furry jacket and sparkly pink cocktail dress shown in the October issue of Elle UK.

In an interview, Rees explained  “H&M’s site was indexed by Google and I happened to search at the right time using the right parameters. All images were taken from that H&M URL”, but the site where she yanked the still-life images of the collection from is no longer live and reps for H&M and Balmain did not respond to requests for comment.

Rees’s Instagram shows nearly 100 images, and she told New York Magazine: “The images are the vast majority of the collection. There are some additional colorways — bandeau top in white and ring in clear for example — not pictured.“

From a quick sweep of the images I saw on Rees’s Instagram,  I’ve already added few items to my wish list – Hello, moto jacket – and you? 😉
