After crashing the Valentino Paris catwalk in a moment that surely no-one saw coming, Derek Zoolander and Hansel hit us with yet more ‘blue steel’ magic from a Paris photoshoot with Xiao Wen Ju and Tilda Lindstam at the Eiffel Tower.
New pictures have surfaced from the infamous Zoolander x Valentino connection from Paris Fashion Week. Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson) appear decked out in Valentino’s Spring/Summer 15 collection, in a series of power poses flanked by seasoned models Xiao Wen Ju and Tilda Lindstam who are exhibiting Valentino’s Pre Fall 2015 collection.
The fashion world ignited with buzz following Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson’s surprise appearance at the Valentino Paris Fashion Week presentation, strutting down the runway in character as Derek Zoolander and Hansel. The marvelous moment passed, although it still very much lives on via Instagram, but even better still comes the news that Zoolander 2, a sequel to the cult hit comedy, is slated for release in February 2016.
The Eiffel Tower serves as the fifth star of the photo shoot, providing the oh-so-Parisian backdrop and an added dose of cred from the Fashion capital. Will we see more of this in the film’s final cut or is this all part of the (effective) hype machine?
