Google has announced a new collection of frames and shades for Google Glass. Called the DVF | Made for Glass collection, they were created in a collaboration with American fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg.

The sunglasses from the collection, which include a grey, rainbow-hued and a brown option, will sport a DVF logo in the corner, akin to sunglasses from brands such as Ray-Ban.

Five new fames and eight new shades will be available through the Google Glass website and Net-a-Porter starting June 23. The new collection of frames and shades adds to Google’s Titanium Collection, launched in January. That collection will also become available on June 23 through the Mr Porter online store.

“It brings multitasking to another level because it actually does not block your sight at all,” Diane von Furstenberg told WWD.“You can be driving and watching a movie,” the designer said. “[I know] I probably shouldn’t say that. The point is that you can be filming things while you’re doing them.” Von Furstenberg detailed the new headsets in an interview with Elle magazine.

Google X’s Jacob Barlow shared the post on his own page: “…In 2012, we gave you an insider’s view of the +DVF Spring 2013 runway show with DVF [through Google Glass]. We’re honored to collaborate with her talented team again. Like Diane says, “technology is your best accessory.”
