Jeremy Scott chose Steven Meisel to shoot his first ever collection since being appointed to helm Moschino in October 2013. “People often ask me who my favourite photographer is, and it’s Cindy Sherman”, the fashion designer explained, “but my favourite artist is Meisel”.

The noted collection wasn’t tame what so ever, Scott’s McDonald’s inspired Moschino M’s and spongebob outfits created quite the buzz around the scene during Milan catwalk in February, and when we thought he couldn’t rise any higher he releases his FW 2014 campaign revealing at first the one and only, Linda Evangelista, who’s showcasing the ‘Pop Couture’ creations. The superdupermodel brings her air of classic charm to the pieces, amped up by the black and white, rather than full-on colour, shots which are brilliantly ’90s, don’t you think so?

Styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, with hair and makeup by Pat McGrath and Guido Palau, the black and white, rather austere campaign is quite the contrast from the splashy runway show. Still, Scott and his all-star crew wrangled a supermodel casting which is bound to make a bit of a splash: Stella Tennant, Carolyn Murphy, Saskia Debraw, Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmerman have had the Moschino treatment too.
