Yesterday, Forbes unveiled its list of the highest paid models of this year, with Gisele Bündchen leading the pack.
For the eighth consecutive year, with estimated earnings of $47 million in the past 12 months from different modelling contracts and other business ventures, Brazilian beauty Gisele Bündchen is still sitting pretty at the top of the world’s highest-paid models list.
The 34-year-old wife of American footballer Tom Brady and mother of two easily beat out her closest competition, Dutch Victoria’s Secret ‘angel’ Doutzen Kroes, 29, with earnings of US$8 million – before taxes and fees – and fellow Brazilian model Adriana Lima, 33, with the same amount.
Forbes calculated the earnings of the models from June 2013 to June 2014, looking at their income from cosmetics, endorsements, advertising and fragrance deals. Also among the top earners was British model Kate Moss, 40, raking in $7 million, as well as American model Kate Upton, 22, who earned the same amount, rounding out the top five.
Other newcomers to the list of the 21 highest paid models include English model Cara Delevingne, 22, and all-American girl Karlie Kloss, 22.
